Hi my name is Claudia Andrew,Im 15,I live in London and go to Stoke Newington School.Myself and 4 of my peers were given the fantastic opportunity to go to Canada to report back from the 2010 winter paralympic games in Vancouver through Connecting Countries from London to Vancouver, a programme created by A New Direction.A New Direction are an organisation that work with schools and local businesses to give young people the opportunity to work creatively.

This blog is all about the time we spent in Canada,about who got the chance to interview,who we meet and the things we did together.We spent a week in Canada,and reported back as often as we could using lots of social media services e.g twitter and wordpress.

I had a great time in Canada with my peers and the AND crew.I learnt a lot about the Canadian culture,the paralympic and olympic spirit,but also how to make our 2012 olympic games succesful.I would like to personally thank all those who made this trip possible,who thought of this great programme connecting countries from London to Vancouver.
